Microsoft SharePoint Online and Power Platform Engineer

Must be hybrid in Des Moines IA or Sioux Falls SD.

Job Description:

This contract role is responsible for supporting SharePoint Online and Power Platform environments with a focus on troubleshooting complex issues and designing sites and workflow solutions to meet business requests. The role will work within established governance frameworks to deliver reliable secure solutions and support business needs.

Essential Functions:

1. Design and implement SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions aligning business needs and governance standards.

2. Work directly with business stakeholders to gather and document technical requirements

3. Configure customize and develop SharePoint site components libraries lists and metadata structures.

4. Advanced troubleshooting of permissions inheritance access issues and content problems. Ability to diagnose workflow failures and connector errors.

5. Advanced troubleshooting capability with Power Automate flows and Power Apps

6. Hands-on experience managing and deploying updates across Power Platform environments

7. Advanced knowledge with creating and applying governance controls security roles and DLP policies within SharePoint Online and Power Platform environments.

8. Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex platform issues

9. Monitor and report on performance usage and health of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.

10. Provide documentation and guidance to business users on platform capabilities and best practices

11. Proactive mindset and desire to continuously learn.

Desired Skill Years of Experience

M365 enterprise environment experience - 5 years
Strong understanding of core M365 services specifically SharePoint Online and Power Platform - 5 years
Experience with regulated or financial services environments - 5 years
Experience supporting/using Power Platform and SharePoint Online - 5 years
