Job Summary
Teaching AssistantWe are seeking three energetic Teaching Assistants to support in our Kindergarten classroom. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively and share a love of learning and a belief that every child can Assistant Job Responsibilities:Works under the supervision of a teacher or and supervises students additional attention and present and engaged during class teachers lessons by reviewing material with to lesson plans and class school and class rules to help teach students appropriate teachers prepare for instruction by getting materials ready or setting up support recess lunch and other duties as needed throughout the building. Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand or sit for long periodsOur Kindergarten runs five full days (8:15 AM -2:30 PM) where children grow as readers writers mathematicians scientists and faith-filled young friends. Each classroom offers a child a small learning environment with one classroom teacher and one teacher assistant to create a small teacher-to-student ratio.
