Summary:
The Employer Engagement Officer will work for Greenwich Local Labour and Business (GLLaB) the Councils Employment and Job Brokerage Service to help unemployed individuals get into work through job outcome-focused support. The role requires a customer-centered focus and commitment to supporting people into work by delivering a high-quality service to residents through GLLaBs externally funded programmes and universal employment and skills support offer
Responsibilities:
- Carry out GLLaBs interface with employers across all sites in the borough
- Support a caseload of job-ready customers into work
- Broker opportunities for GLLaB skills and other initiatives as appropriate
- Be responsible for aspects of employer engagement
Essentials:
- Proven experience of delivering account managed services with a range of employers across several industry sectors with experience of securing job vacancies paid and unpaid work placements and apprenticeships opportunities.
- Experience of coordinating and setting up recruitment events and open days along with the design and development of marketing materials
- Proven experience of supporting residents into work through several mechanisms including job brokerage training job search and coaching techniques and advisory sessions.

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires a Standard DBS
