As a Business Development Representative youll play a crucial role in identifying and developing new business opportunities conducting sales presentations building relationships with potential customers and achieving sales goals. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the truck equipment industry and exceptional sales and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the truck equipment industry.
- Conduct sales presentations to potential clients demonstrating the benefits and value of our clients truck equipment solutions.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Stay up to date with industry trends market conditions and competitor offerings.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our clients truck equipment products and services.
- Lead contract negotiations and close sales deals.
- Use CRM software to track leads manage opportunities and maintain accurate sales records.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in relationship sales with an emphasis on business development sales or account management.
- Strong understanding of the trucking industry and familiarity with truck equipment products.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed.
