Job Summary

Our client a leading provider in the truck equipment industry is currently seeking a Business Development Representative. The company offers a comprehensive range of products and services including Mechanics Trucks Service Bodies Dump Trucks Specialty Trucks Cranes Lift Gates and addition they provide comprehensive services such as Field Service Paint & Body Shop Technical & Warranty Support and Parts. They offer an attractive benefits package including healthcare retirement plans and paid time off.

As a Business Development Representative youll play a crucial role in identifying and developing new business opportunities conducting sales presentations building relationships with potential customers and achieving sales goals. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the truck equipment industry and exceptional sales and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the truck equipment industry.
  • Conduct sales presentations to potential clients demonstrating the benefits and value of our clients truck equipment solutions.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends market conditions and competitor offerings.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our clients truck equipment products and services.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close sales deals.
  • Use CRM software to track leads manage opportunities and maintain accurate sales records.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in relationship sales with an emphasis on business development sales or account management.
  • Strong understanding of the trucking industry and familiarity with truck equipment products.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
