Job Summary

We are currently assisting our client a leading supplier in the construction equipment industry in their search for an experienced Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the companys rental and customer-owned equipment.

Job Description:

Diagnosing inspecting and repairing various types of forestry and other earth moving equipment
Servicing rentals and customer-owned equipment
Utilizing electrical hydraulic and computer-controlled systems knowledge
Communicating effectively with customers supervisors and vendors
Driving to/from company locations and job sites
Being on call
Lifting up to 50 lbs

Qualifications:

3-5 years experience as a mechanic repairing and maintaining heavy equipment
Positive customer service and communication skills
Experience using laptop computers and scan tools for diagnostic trouble-shooting
Ability to complete tasks without direct supervision
Safe work habits and a can do job completion attitude
Ability to read schematics (both electrical and hydraulic)
Experience in troubleshooting various heavy equipment product lines
Required to have your own hand tools up to 1 ½ inch
Ability to perform thorough and accurate annual inspections
A high school diploma or equivalent
Able to pass a drug screen and background check
Valid Washington or Oregon State or Idaho Drivers License CDL endorsement is Required
