The Design Coordinator is responsible for supporting the design team by managing project timelines facilitating communication between stakeholders and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of design deliverables. This role requires exceptional organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee design projects from conception to completion.
Serve as the liaison between design teams clients vendors and contractors.
Track project schedules deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
Review design documents for quality accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Organize and maintain project files design drawings and documentation.
Assist in the preparation of presentations proposals and client meetings.
Monitor project budgets and report on progress and expenditures.
Support procurement of materials and samples as needed.
Facilitate internal and external communications to resolve issues and optimize workflows.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Interior Design Architecture Construction Management or related field preferred.
2 years of experience in a design coordination or project management role.
Proficient in design software (AutoCAD Revit SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation
Hourly Pay Rate: $38 to $55 per hour (dependent on experience and education.).
