Lead Cost Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor forecast control and report project costs.
Develop and implement all routine cost reports regularly review cost reports with budget holders to ensure understanding update estimates and discuss problem areas.
Support financial processes as required including contract progress invoicing payments cash flows etc.
Develop and provide project variances trending analysis of expenditures and completion reports.
Review project costs incurred by category calculate future costs based on labor productivity material price increases subcontract wage rates and risk analysis.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in any Engineering Discipline or Project Management.
Minimum 10 years of cost management experience with at least 5 years of lead cost experience within the Oil and Gas business.
Thorough knowledge of cost budgeting monitoring forecasting and cost performance indicators.
Proactive and possess good interpersonal skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in the use of Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with ERP system will be an added advantage.
