Job Summary

This position is onsite Monday Friday (7am until scheduled deliveries are completed).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- This position will be responsible for delivering GM parts to Berger customers while supporting our warehouse operations.
- Safely deliver GM parts to wholesale customers in a timely professional manner.
- Organize and prepare routes by arranging deliveries and efficiently staging/loading parts.
- Support team members by assisting with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Handle and process parts returns as needed.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma; GED.
- Prior delivery driving experience preferred.
- Must pass and maintain DOT medical certification.
- Valid chauffers license required (CDL is also acceptable).
- Ability to operate an automobile and maintain a valid drivers license.
- Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable trustworthy highly organized and consistently efficient.
- Must allow pre-employment screenings i.e. background checks driving record evaluations and drug testing.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation and adhere to workplace health procedures as directed by the public health department.
LOCATION:
2525 28th St SE Grand Rapids MI 49512. We are near great lunch spots and shopping centers and 15 minutes from the heart of Grand Rapids.
