Indirect Buyer (Dutch Speaking)

Role summary:

Reporting to the Country Procurement Team Leader our Indirect Buyer will support the Indirect Procurement Organization by providing a full Procure to Pay supportincluding but not limited to PO management vendor master management supplier negotiations.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Processing purchase requests(PR) raised for Indirect goods and / or services and converting them into Purchase orders (PO) on a daily basis

• Rolling out request for quotes to suppliers evaluating incoming supplier offers and finalize with the best offer for PO issuance

• Conducting supplier negotiations with the local supplier base for achieving the best price lead time payment terms combination along with the General Terms & Conditions

• Addressing invoice discrepancies price mismatches between PO and invoice

• Contributing to execution of the Indirect Procurement strategy and AOP (annual operating plan) through the local projects and savings initiatives

• Managing the full vendor master by checking / creating/ maintaining the supplierswith a key focus on tail end vendors reduction and supplier base rationalization including supplier onboarding

• Implementing catalogues and value contracts

• Supporting & working with category teams & procurement excellence team on tenders & RFQ-s by data collection such specifications drawings volumes

• Supporting the implementation of the category strategies and tender results across the organization and roll out the newly agreed contracts and agreements led by the Indirect Category teams

• Working with other functions to ensure the procurement policies & processes are followed and met ensuring compliant execution of task and processes

• Collaborating with SAP team to create reports or tools to improve system efficiency

• Collaborating with internal teams such as Accounts Payable and Vendor Master Data team as well as in-country stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process and a positive experience for our vendor base

This role will suit you if you have the following:

• Strong interest in procurement or prior experience in purchasing within an international environment

• Fluency in English

• Intermediate level of Dutch

• Solid experience with SAP ERP is an advantage

• Experience working in a matrix organization

• P2P knowledge is a plus

• Project management mindset
