The opportunity
As a Business Analyst in our Digital Engineering practice you will play a key role in bridging business needs with technology solutions across complex client environments. You will work closely with stakeholders to define requirements analyze business processes and support the delivery of custom-built digital solutions. This is a client-facing role requiring strong analytical thinking communication and a deep understanding of modern software delivery.
Your key responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to elicit analyze and document detailed business and system requirements.
- Process Analysis: Evaluate existing business processes identify areas for improvement and propose optimized solutions.
- Data Analysis: Interpret complex data sets to inform business decisions and strategies.
- Solution Assessment: Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement solutions that align with business goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings with stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes requirements and decisions to ensure transparency and continuity.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Computer Science or related field
- 58 years of experience in business analysis with at least 2 years in a consulting or client-facing environment
- Experience in technology-enabled transformation projects
- Professional certifications such as CBAP PMI-PBA or Agile certifications (e.g. CSM CSPO) are preferred
Skills and attributes for success:
- Strong understanding of business analysis frameworks and SDLC
- Hands-on experience with requirements gathering process mapping and stakeholder workshops
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA Confluence Visio and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to create user stories use cases and functional specifications
- Understanding of cloud-native and API-based solution environments
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation abilities
- Adaptability and resilience in dynamic client environments
