Project Superintendent - GA
JOB ID # JOS2186
Starting base salary: $90-120K
Summary
This growing company is focuses in high-end architectural millwork is seeking a skilled Project Superintendent with at least 3 years of experience managing the installation of pre-finished architectural woodwork. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of projects by supervising field operations coordinating subcontractor or in-house installation crews and maintaining alignment with project schedules and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading fabrication/shop drawings laying out project dimensions and documenting daily project progress.
Responsibilities
-Supervise and coordinate the installation of pre-finished architectural woodwork using subcontractor crews and/or internal employee crews.
-Maintain daily project reports including labor tracking progress updates field changes safety incidents and schedule adherence.
-Act as the primary on-site point of contact in communicating with general contractors clients and internal teams.
-Perform and document field measurements and monitor jobsite conditions to ensure accuracy and fit.
-Enforce safety protocols and participate in regular jobsite safety meetings and inspections.
-Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials.
-Read and interpret detailed fabrication/shop drawings to guide field installation.
Requirements
-Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising field installation of pre-finished architectural woodwork.
-Strong ability to read and understand architectural fabrication and installation drawings.
-Proven experience managing subcontractor and / or internal field crews.
-Proficient in laying out project dimensions and verifying site conditions.
-Familiarity with AWI is a BIG Plus!
