Reporting to the Coordinator Contracted Services youll be responsible for planning procuring and delivering programmed and ad-hoc works through the effective engagement and management of contractors. This role offers variety challenge and the opportunity to grow your career while overseeing contract performance ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement across a diverse portfolio of services.

This position is 1 FTE but may be awarded as 2 part time positions (equivalent to 1 FTE) should the top two preferred candidates wish to work part time.

Salary range is between $91908 - $98028plus superannuation guarantee and will be negotiated commensurate with skills experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities are:

  • Strong contract management and contractor management acumen.
  • Strong capability to engage and work collaboratively with all stakeholders and contractors.
  • Innovative and analytical thinking with a practical approach to problem solving and negotiation.
  • High level planning and prioritising skills to meeting competing deadlines.
  • Strong use of initiative and the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Well established communication skills.
  • Competent IT skills that enable the use of corporate systems in the day-to-day work activities.
  • Certificate or Diploma qualification in Contract Management Project Management Facilities/Building Management or a related discipline/field or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • South Australian Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card) or willingness to obtain.
  • Willingness to undertake Level 2 Purchasing Accreditation (internal training) upon commencement.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and police check.
