Job Description
Einstein Jefferson Health is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist to join our Division of Cardiology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (CCEP) with expertise in atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia ablation as well as training in lead extraction.
Position Highlights:
- Focusing primarily on diagnosis and treatment of rhythm disorders of the heart
- Evaluating abnormal test results obtained by invasive and non invasive testing
- Determining diagnosis and creating treatment plan possibly involving antiarrhythmic drug therapy implantable devices or ablation therapy
- Utilizing extensive knowledge of non-invasive and invasive cardiac testing
- Administering medication to patient to alter heart function and assess its abilities under different conditions
- Will have inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Will have resident and fellow teaching responsibilities
Requirements:
- MD or DO from an accredited program
- Board certified/eligible in Cardiology and CCEP
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
