Position Summary:
The Sales Manager Biopharma will specifically focus on sales and application of the PSG Biotech products from such brands as Quattroflow Malema and em-tec into the biopharmaceutical industry in alignment with the goals and objectives of Dover and PSG. This individual will be the front-line key driver for sales and focused initiatives in the assigned market and will coordinate efforts with all other areas including Marketing and Manufacturing to manage projects support customers both commercially and technically and grow sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsiblefor incremental sales growthaccording to the business plan in the following territory:
- Singapore South Korea Taiwan Malaysia Vietnam Indonesia Thailand Australia and New Zealand.
- Achieve projected gains by developing and deployingValue-Added sales conceptsversus simply order taking.
- Use route-to-market paths including sales throughoptimized sales and distribution channels as necessary to maximize growth coherently and sustainably.
- Help develop and implementa route-to-market channel modelfor OEM Direct and Rep sales as a compatible Biopharma marketplace and emerging single-use repeat business model.
- Succeed in creatingspecification push/pullthrough OEM system integrators and A&E firms.
- Capture and documentmarket sharefrom tube pump companies with dominance in the industry.
- Reporting andcloning of successeswithin the region globally and material for marketing collateral.
- Implement and regularly use processes likegoal setting/tracking key project tracking.
- Assist with creating sales marketing and otherbudgetsto support biopharma activities and then manage them responsibly.
- Take a leadership position in anindustry association or trade groupsuch as BPSA ISPE ASME BPE or other.
- Establish ties with leading biopharma higher education institutionsin the assigned territory.
- Be directly involved in key individual sales projects and assure that correct data is collected and evaluated to confirmproper equipment matchearly in sales process.
- Trainindividuals serving the biopharma/life sciences market the specific knowledge to be able to perform autonomously in this market.
- Performsmarket analysison a regular basis in order to understand how changing business conditions (political socio-economic demographic certifying agencies etc.) might and remain proactive in defining actions to mitigate any potential impacts.
- Assist PSG in developingVoice of the Customerinitiatives as a method of defining new product opportunities
- Assist the PSG Director of Business Development to identify strong acquisition candidates that offer a significant opportunity for growth within the assigned market.
- Provide raw material or access tomarketing collateral generation. Work closely with marketing to develop necessary tools.
- Prioritize and lead trade shows (both PSG and distributor co-op) for maximum effectiveness.
- Assist in developing capturing processing and tracking ofsales leads.
- Interface withglobal Biopharma sales teamand serve as example in information exchange.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5 years of sales experience
- Bachelors in engineering Business or a Science-related field
- Self-sufficient and self-motivated
- Able to work with little supervision and communicate plans and outcomes effectively
- Willing to travel up to up to 60% time with the expected breakdown:
- Singapore: 40%
- South Korea: 30%
- Taiwan & Malaysia: 10%
- Thailand & Indonesia: 10%
- Australia & New Zealand: 10%
- Attend trade shows and meetings as needed maintaining records for effective planning.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint) experience with Salesforce and effective use of modern technologies to leverage time.
- Able to demonstrate technical problem-solving prowess
- Clear concise and articulate verbal written listening and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization
- Ability to multitask and perform in a dynamic environment including conducting business support tasks while traveling on business
- Self-starter with ability to solve problems anticipating and avoiding issues
- Impeccable organization and efficiency skills and strong attention to details
- Able to maintain positive attitude and energy while interfacing with wide array of individuals and balancing multiple tasks
- Strong team-player mindset solid work ethic and a firm commitment to win
- Fluency in English
Desired Characteristics:
- 3 years of experience working inside life sciences/biopharmaceutical industry with an understanding of the sales process and certification requirements in this industry.
- 3 years of experience in selling pumps sensors and/or instrumentation solutions specifically in the biopharma market.
Work Arrangement : Remote
Pay Range: $ - $ per hour / annually
Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
Commission Eligible: This position is eligible to earn commissions based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable commissions plan.
Other Compensation: This position is eligible to earn other compensation in the form of XX as governed by applicable plan documents and policies.
