Your Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the family law team
- Sensitive Communications: Managing sensitive client communications via telephone and correspondence with empathy
- Legal Documentation: Preparing legal documents court forms and family law documentation accurately
- Case Management: Maintaining accurate case management systems and confidential client files
- Professional Liaison: Liaising with clients courts social services and other legal professionals
- Diary Management: Scheduling appointments court hearings and managing fee earner diaries efficiently
- Court Applications: Processing court applications and handling urgent family law matters
- File Administration: Supporting with file opening procedures and client care protocols
- Confidential Support: Handling general administrative duties with discretion and professionalism
- Client Care: Ensuring all interactions maintain the firms high standards of sensitivity and support
Essential Requirements
Experience & Background:
- Secretarial or administrative experience (legal experience preferred but not essential)
- Professional communication skills with empathetic telephone manner
- Microsoft Office proficiency with willingness to learn case management systems
- Organisational abilities with strong attention to detail

- Discretion and sensitivity when handling confidential family matters
- Accuracy under pressure with ability to work to court deadlines
