The Role

We are looking for a motivated Student Worker to join the Digital Innovation & Execution team within Development Operations. In this role you will contribute to the development and implementation of digital tools that support clinical trials and operational excellence. Youll work closely with the Head of Department (HoD) team leads and cross-functional colleagues across data science quality and operations.

This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to real-world applications of digital innovation in a regulated data-driven biotech environment contributing to meaningful advancements in clinical development. Please note that this student position is for approximately 15 hours per week. The expected start date is November 1.

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in a BSc/MSc degree in Denmark (preferably within computer science data science engineering life sciences or similar but not required).

  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to balance technical development work and administrative responsibilities.

  • Programming skills (e.g. Python R or similar); knowledge of ML/NLP frameworks is a plus. A critical and analytical approach (especially when using AI) to programming is highly valued.

  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with document management or structured workflows is a plus but not required.

  • Strong written communication skills in English.

  • Proactive collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

Digital Solutions Development & Support

  • Assist in development and prototyping of ML/NLP-driven tools and trial solutions under supervision.

  • Support release and maintenance of data visualization dashboards and digital applications.

  • Help troubleshoot and resolve basic dataflow or application issues in collaboration with senior colleagues and IT.

  • Contribute to the testing and validation of digital solutions and dashboards.

Quality & Compliance

  • Perform quality control checks on dashboards and digital applications to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Support documentation efforts including training records guidelines and quality management system (QMS) documents.

  • Assist in preparing materials for audits and inspections.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Provide logistical support for project and departmental activities (e.g. meeting coordination drafting minutes).

  • Assist in preparing documentation presentations and communications for internal stakeholders.

  • Support with operational work (e.g. maintain project trackers access matrices contract overviews).

Collaboration & Learning

  • Participate in departmental knowledge-sharing sessions and optimization initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support digital solution implementation.

  • Gain exposure to regulatory aspects (e.g. GCP GDPR) relevant to digital clinical solutions.
