What our transportation engineering projects include:
- Corridor design
- Highway framework studies and IJRs
- Signalized and roundabout intersection design
- Downtown transportation revitalization projects
- Roadway/highway design
- Transit design
- Stormwater design
What youll be doing
- Youll establish project objectives policies procedures and performance expectations.Create and execute project work plans revise when appropriate to meet changing needs; identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities; manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scopes
- Initiate and maintain relationships with clients to facilitate successful project completion. Set and manage client expectations; communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate options when project challenges arise; represent the company in project meetings; effectively facilitate team and client meetings; develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client loyalty.
- Provide oversight of project staff. Develop design alternatives; supervise design staff in preparation of PS&E; ensure QA/QC process is followed.
- Complete project documents. Initiate and complete any required documentation to support assigned projects; write draft and final reports develop draft reports in concert with other project team members; review deliverables prepared by team prior to executive-level review and submission to clients.
What you bring:
- A passion for serving others communication creativity and a commitment to high-quality work
- A Professional Engineering (PE) license and a bachelors degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- 4 years of progressively responsible transportation engineering experience
- AutoCAD and/or MicroStation 3D experience. Civil 3D and/or InRoads experience
- Independence and initiative
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- The ability to organize and delegate
- A healthy balance of logic and creativity
