We planted our roots in Newark New Jersey during the Great Depression selling premium nuts on Mulberry Streets open-air market. Weve come quite a long way since then taking our multi-generational family business online in 1999. Even after 96 years we continue to pride ourselves in expertly sourcing the highest quality foods and treating our customers like family.

The role

As an Account Manager at youll own and operate within the Foodservice channelmanaging both new and existing business with strategic focus and clear guardrails. This is not a traditional outbound role; instead youll act as a channel expert responsible for deepening customer relationships executing targeted outreach and maximizing performance across your assigned vertical.

With support from leadership youll work from an aligned outreach strategy and customer segmentation model allowing you to focus on where we can win and walk away where we cant. Youll be measured not just on new business but on your ability to grow retain and protect the margin of your overall portfolio.


What Youll Do

  • Own and manage a defined portfolio of Foodservice accounts with accountability for growth retention and profitability.
  • Deepen customer relationships by executing tailored outreach driving reorder cadence upsells and long-term loyalty.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to refine channel strategy customer segmentation and whitespace opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teamsBDRs Finance Ops Merchandising CX and Food Safetyto deliver seamless high-quality experiences.
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation while surfacing customer insights trends and opportunities.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in pursuing high-margin strategic opportunities and walking away from misaligned ones.
  • Regularly report on account performance blockers and pipeline health in team meetings.
What Youll Bring
  • 35 years of experience in account management sales or customer successpreferably within Foodservice CPG or related industries.
  • Proven track record of growing and retaining customer accounts with a focus on profitability and long-term value.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to build and interpret account-level P&Ls.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across functions and levels.
  • Highly organized and disciplined with experience managing CRM systems and outreach workflows.
  • A solutions-oriented mindsetable to balance customer needs with company priorities.
  • Strategic thinker with the resilience and focus to operate in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • A deep understanding of the foodservice channel
