The BNSF Railway Finance Department provides innovative strategic solutions and world-class financial services to support BNSFs overall performance. Within the Finance Department several specialized departments contribute to its overall mission: Controller Revenue Management Strategic Sourcing Tax Treasury and Strategic Studies. Each department is vital in managing BNSFs financial health and strategic financial planning. These departments work collaboratively to secure BNSFs economic stability and support its growth and innovation within the railway industry.

Key responsibilities may include:
This position will have budgeting forecasting and planning responsibility for budget areas
supporting Transportation operations across the BNSF network with a strong focus on Business Partnering and
creating value for each area served. Responsibilities include:
Development of processes models and reports to accurately monitor and forecast expenses for assigned divisions
Performing balance sheet accruals analysis support metric reporting and other projects relative to informational needs of business partners utilizing various tools
Leading/facilitating weekly and monthly budget reviews and forecasts with assigned transportation divisions
Assisting in the development of performance measures strategic initiatives and annual plans
Analyzing complex data to understand operational trends and the corresponding financial impact and make appropriate recommendations to team leaders and business partners to drive to the lowest cost possible
Daily work is conducted in an indoor office environment.
