Key Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor post-anesthesia patients for stability and complications
Administer medications and interventions as prescribed
Communicate effectively with physicians surgical teams and healthcare personnel
Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
Provide patient and family education regarding post-operative care
Participate in unit-specific protocols and safety standards
Be available for on-call duties as required
Qualifications:
Required:
Active RN licensure in New York
Recent experience with Epic EMR
Prior PACU or post-operative nursing experience preferred
