Job Description:
As a member of the health care team performs non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing including M-mode echocardiograms 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional Sector scans Cardiac Doppler Colorflow Imaging and measurement of Ejection Fraction by echocardiogram on patients who are pediatric adolescent and adults at UTMC. Assists the physician in the performance of Transesophageal Echocardiograms. Performs Stress Exercise Echocardiograms in the Heart Station with the Stress Laboratory personnel. Maintains digital computer system.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or higher relevant degree required
Must be registered in Adult Echocardiography through ARDMS or obtain within six (6) months of hire.
Computer knowledge required.
AHA/CPR certification required in Basic Life Support Health Care Provider
Experience in non-invasive cardiology preferred.
