Your work profile
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior ServiceNow Consultant with deep expertise in ITSM and custom application development. The ideal candidate will lead functional engagements design scalable solutions and develop custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine. This role demands strong client-facing skills technical acumen and a strategic mindset to drive platform adoption and innovation.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Lead functional workshops to gather and analyze business requirements across ITSM processes.
- Architect and implement custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine and Studio.
- Configure and optimize core ITSM modules: Incident Problem Change Request CMDB.
- Design and develop workflows business rules UI actions client scripts and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end ServiceNow solutions.
- Provide thought leadership on platform capabilities best practices and roadmap planning.
- Mentor junior consultants and developers ensuring quality and consistency in delivery.
- Support testing deployment and post-implementation activities.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with governance standards.
Location Bangalore
- 58 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow including ITSM and custom app development.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow.
- Proven experience in developing scoped applications using App Engine and Studio.
- Proficiency in JavaScript Glide APIs Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and third-party system connectivity.
- Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and App Developer certifications preferred.
Experience: 5.5 to 8 years of experience.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
Education Certifications And/or Experience Qualifications
- 5 years working on the ServiceNow platform
- Degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - Preferred
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSMand/or ITOM/Discovery/Service Mapping - Preferred
- ITIL Foundations Certification
- Exposure to additional ServiceNow modules like HRSD CSM FSM or SecOps.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Knowledge of performance analytics reporting and dashboard creation.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in ServiceNow.
Desired qualifications

Location and way of working
- Base location: Bangalore
- This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
