Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior API Developer with expertise in Java Spring Boot and RESTful API development. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in microservices architecture database integration debugging and API lifecycle management. The role requires excellent technical depth along with the ability to mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain high-quality RESTful APIs using Java Spring Boot.
Work extensively with the Spring Framework Java programming JSON and Web Services.
Contribute to the design and implementation of API and Microservices architecture including security performance optimization integration patterns and deployment best practices.
Read interpret and create Swagger/OpenAPI specifications for API design and documentation.
Utilize CI/CD and delivery tools such as Git/Bitbucket Jenkins/Bamboo JUnit Test Automation frameworks and SonarQube.
Perform advanced debugging across client-side and server-side components to ensure optimum performance and reliability.
Work with relational databases leveraging Hibernate/JPA and writing complex SQL queries.
Participate in code reviews enforce coding standards and mentor junior team members.
Collaborate closely with architects business analysts QA teams and stakeholders to align on requirements and deliver robust solutions.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software in an agile working environment.

Technical Skills Must-Have Skills

Proven hands-on experience in API development using Java Spring Boot
Strong proficiency with the Spring Framework RESTful APIs JSON and Web Services
Solid understanding of Microservices architecture API design deployment and security
Experience using delivery tools: Git/Bitbucket Jenkins/Bamboo JUnit Test Automation frameworks SonarQube
Strong debugging skills for both client and server components
Experience with databases Hibernate/JPA and complex SQL queries
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and mentor junior team members
