- The IT Inventory Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring timely efficient communications and IT support to hundreds of users in a high-security environment. You will directly contribute to the operational readiness and effectiveness of federal law enforcement operations.
- The selected candidate will strengthen their expertise in telecommunications and IT service management federal contract execution and customer engagement.
Typical Day:
The candidate will provide IT inventory support for the FBIs Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG)
Required Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of government logistics systems
- Experience using and maintaining logistics databases
- Effective oral/written communication skills
- Ability to perform general maintenance and cleaning on vehicles and facilities
- Top Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain SCI access
Desired Qualifications:
- Order supplies
- Ship/receive equipment
- Maintain stock
- Conduct inventory
- Maintain supply room of deployable communication equipment
- Issue equipment and maintain inventory control
- Prepare logistical reports and presentations as required
- Assist with load- out to include the following:
- Keep accurate inventory of deploying equipment
- Assist with equipment issue
- Assist with equipment load-out
- Assist with loading equipment on the following:
- Aircraft Pallet
- Box Truck
- Trailer/Flatbeds
- Vans
- Trucks
- Other equipment/Platforms as necessary
- Responsible for managing new IT equipment inventory processes.
- Responsible for ensuring all IT equipment is registered correctly and managed properly.
- Responsible for producing and accurately updating online records of accountable property working closely with management to ready IT equipment for deployment in a timely manner.
- Manage the entire life cycle of a product which includes how a product is acquired allocated and delivered.
Physical Job Requirements:
- Be physically capable of carrying up to 70 lbs
- Be physically capable of prolonged kneeling
- Be physically capable of climbing on off and under personal or commercial-sized
