Job Summary

- Position Summary
- Temporary hourly-intermittent Federal Work Study position for the Reading Enrichment Program in Financial Aid.
- Start Date
- Positionsavailable on or after September 1 2025 and ending on or before May 31 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget department needs and job performance.
- Job Description/Duties
- Duties include but are not limited to:
  - Help Turlock School District students (K-6 grade aged children) to improve reading skills through one-on-one or small group instruction focusing on comprehension fluency and vocabulary development.
  - Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications:
  - Demonstrates enrollment in English Liberal Studies Child Development or Communications program.
  - Interested in teaching others to read serving the community working with children.
  Required Qualifications:
  - Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
  - Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
- Salary Range
- $16.50 per hour.
