Job Description:

• Assist in the operational execution of software solutions and co-ordinate activity across multiple divisions to assist with the monitoring and control of market and credit risks.
• Assist with application development and with modification and/or maintenance of applications.
• May assist other areas of financial research and engineering when defining requirements for systems applications.
• Full use and application of standard principles theories concepts and techniques. Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems.
• Primarily intra-organizational with occasional inter-organizational and external customer contacts on routine matters.
• Demonstrate ownership of problems issues or requests from start to finish; Facilitate appropriate handoffs but track the item through resolution.
• Performing additional job-related duties as requested.
• Understanding of the best practices used in model development implementation and usage.
• Self-directed with the capability of managing multiple priorities and efficient in proposing solutions to complex time-critical problems. Position eligible for part-time telecommuting. Multiple positions.

Job Requirements

Masters degree or foreign equivalent in computer science computer engineering applied mathematics economics physics econometrics finance engineering statistics data science or related quantitative discipline and demonstrated knowledge* of: programming in Java and Python specifically related application development stack; end-to-end software development; Test-Driven Development continuous integration; and web technologies.

*Knowledge may be demonstrated through education training and/or experience.

40 hours per week 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM.
