About the Role
Hastings Deering is seeking an Administrator to join our award-winning team in Townsville. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday 38 hours per week.
As an Administrator at Hastings Deering you will:
- Provide Administration Support Provide accurate and timely administrative assistance to the local service teams.
- Customer Service Deliver a high-quality cost-effective service that supports customer satisfaction and strengthens relationships.
- Efficiency & Cost Savings Contribute to achieving cost savings through effective resource management and process improvement.
- Purchasing & Data Management Accurately create and manage purchase requisitions while maintaining data integrity in Microsoft AX.
- Continuous Improvement Capture and utilise customer feedback to help shape improvements in processes and service delivery.

About You
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Relevant Experience Minimum of two years experience in a similar administrative role ideally within mining or heavy equipment industries.
- Technical Skills Strong computer literacy with proven ability working across Microsoft Office systems and databases.
- Customer Focus Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement with the ability to deliver professional confidential and customer-focused service.
- Professionalism Confidence discretion and the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels.
