Job Summary

DIRECT HIRE: The Licensed Master Electrician oversees electrical installations maintenance and troubleshooting for high-end residential and commercial audio-visual automation and electrical projects. This role ensures compliance with all electrical codes and standards while delivering safe efficient and high-quality service.

Hourly Range: $40hr - $50hr

Key Responsibilities:

Plan install and maintain electrical wiring panels circuits and systems to support AV lighting and smart home integrations
Review blueprints schematics and project specifications to determine electrical requirements
Supervise train and mentor journeyman and apprentice electricians
Perform inspections testing and troubleshooting to ensure safety functionality and compliance with NEC and local codes
Coordinate with project managers designers and clients to deliver integrated electrical and AV solutions
Obtain permits schedule inspections and ensure adherence to state and local regulations
Manage material orders vendor coordination and cost tracking for electrical portions of projects
Maintain detailed project documentation including work logs reports and compliance records
Lead safety meetings and enforce proper use of PPE and OSHA standards
Provide technical expertise to support complex system installations and custom design projects

Qualifications:

Must be a Licensed Master Electrician for the state of Maryland
