Job Summary

Journeyman Electrician - Active electrical license (Journeyman level or higher)

Location: Sandston VA (near Richmond International Airport)

A well-established and essential electrical services provider is seeking a Journeyman Electrician who is interested in growing into an Estimator role. This position supports commercial retail mixed-use and multi-family properties across the Richmond VA area. This organization operates 24/7 and is known for providing preventative maintenance and full-service electrical solutions. Compensation

Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical work across commercial and residential environments

Support service preventative maintenance and repair projects

Work onsite and at customer locations as needed

Collaborate with internal teams and field leadership

Transition into estimating responsibilities over time (training provided)

Required Qualifications

310 years of experience as an Electrician

Experience in both commercial and residential electrical work

Ability to pass:

Background check

Drug screening

Driving record check

Strong work ethic and interest in career advancement

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using JCARD or similar time-tracking applications

Leadership potential or mentoring experience

Interest in estimating project planning or office-to-field coordination
