Hub Summary:
The Geostrategy Hub is GMFs largest hub comprising 80 GMF programmatic administrative staff and fellows combined. The hub provides decisionmakers policymakers and business leaders on both sides of the Atlantic with the most in-depth and comprehensive analysis on the political economic and strategic trends impacting them. With the international environment being increasingly defined by geopolitical competition the environmental crisis and hybrid threats managing these risks requires adopting a geostrategy i.e. the holistic and cross-functional integration of (geo)political risk management into broader strategies resiliency plans and policy planning.
The Geostrategy Hub is structured as a multi geographic cross-functional and cross-office hub:

The Geostrategy Hub comprises staff from the Paris office the Warsaw office the Brussels office the Berlin office the Ankara office and the Washington DC office.
Work Stream Summary:
GMFs Risk & Strategy workstream focuses on the short- and long-term geopolitical and geo economic developments affecting the transatlantic relationship as well as the interplay of domestic and foreign policy in the U.S. and Europe.
It contributes to transatlantic strategic debates by identifying issues that have a direct impact on the U.S. and its allies and by providing policy solutions for both sides of the Atlantic.
The workstream also conducts foresight projects anticipating risks and opportunities to help policymakers and corporate sector representatives better understand geopolitical shifts and their implications for their decision-making processes.
Internship format: 6-month full-time internship Master or post-Master
Internship agreement required
Dates: January 26 2026 - July 24 2026
Remuneration: 1000/month restaurant tickets reimbursement of part of metro costs
Location: Paris Office 91 rue de Rennes 75006 Paris
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Conduct research work on a variety of topics;
Prepare and produce supporting material documents and data selection for presentations and meetings as required;
Maintain database think tanks watch and update of events conference and seminars in Paris Europe and the United States;
Update Paris contact lists;
Contact and follow-up with invitees to conferences and seminars organized in Paris and other GMF offices;
Assist in organizing seminars conferences editing and coordinating publications;
Assist with travel accommodation arrangements and programming of meetings for staff U.S. delegations and guests visiting the Paris office;
Attend research conferences on transatlantic and European security issues in Paris and write event reports;
Translate work from French to English and from English to French;
Assist with the communication and advertising of GMFs and the Paris offices activities;
Daily administrative work;
Other duties as assigned.
Profile:
Enrolled in a Master program or graduate ideally in International Relations/European Affairs/Political Science;
Excellent communication and writing skills in both French and English;
Creative entrepreneurial and responsible;
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines while working on longer term projects;
Ability to work in an international environment;
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team;
Experience in project management program planning and research;
Background or interest in foreign policy diplomacy transatlantic relations; ideally knowledge of European and American domestic and foreign policies and transatlantic relations.
