Director, International Licensing

Overview

Fortune seeks an experienced executive to lead the expansion of its international licensing program. This role willbe responsible for identifying qualifying negotiating and launching new licensing partnerships with an initial focus on Latin America/Mexico Africa Central Asia and Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate prospective international licensees leveraging an established network of publishers media groups and related partners.

• Qualify potential partners through business plans and financial models that adapt Fortunes brand editorial and events to local markets.

• Negotiate term sheets and license agreements that balance local market realities with Fortunes global standards and brand protection.

• Oversee onboarding and launch of licensees ensuring alignment with Fortunes editorial business and operational requirements.

• Partner with Fortunes editorial and business teams to ensure licensees receive training support and integration into Fortunes global community.

• Monitor licensee performance and manage ongoing relationships to drive long-term success.

Candidate Profile

• 10 years of experience with existing network of licenses across international media publishing or licensing.

• Demonstrated track record of securing and managing successful licensing or partnership agreements.

• Deep active network of international publishers and media operators.

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex term sheets and agreements.

• Commercial acumen with experience assessing financial models business plans and minimum guarantee structures.

• Cross-cultural fluency and ability to adapt Fortunes global brand for local market success.

• Entrepreneurial hands-on operator comfortable building in new markets with limited infrastructure.

Location & Travel

• Flexible location( Global Role)

• Significant international travel to develop negotiate and launch new licensees.
