Salary Range: $150000-$185000 depending on experience.
We are seeking:
A Information Assurance Specialist researches and analyzes network attach techniques and information capabilities. Conduct research and development activities. Identify target communications within a wide network. Analyze and process intelligent information. Conduct and coordinate COMSEC INFOSEC and Information Assurance (IA) research and development activitie. Develop databases on information capabilities. Conduct target technology trends research. Identify target communications within the global network. Develop automated analysis tools that provide specific information about techniques. Compile integrate and interpret all-source data for intelligence. Merge information gathered from open source and other sources. Use the knowledge of customer requirements to analyze and process intelligence information.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
- Six (6) years of relevant experience involving the assessment of the overall security posture of telecommunications and associated computer networks
- Five (5) years of relevant experience involving conducting and coordinating COMSEC INFOSEC and IA research and development activities
- Meet at least three (3) of the five (5) following areas:
- Five (5) years of relevant experience involving the review and approval processes associated with COMSEC INFOSEC and IA standards techniques systems and equipment
- Five (5) years of relevant experience involving prescribing minimum standards methods and procedures for protecting cryptographic and other sensitive COMSEC INFOSEC and IA materials techniques and information
- Five (5) years of relevant experience involving formulating and disseminating procedures for integrated material management of COMSEC and INFOSEC equipment
- Five (5) years of relevant experience involving developing effective telecommunications and computer systems architectures necessary to satisfy COMSEC INFOSEC or IA requirements
- Five (5) years of relevant experience involving directing planning coordinating or conducting Defensive Information Operations (DIO) activities supportive of the agency
