Automotive Workshop Controller (Croydon) 45K Family-Run Business
Are you an experienced technician ready to step up or a seasoned Workshop Controller who still enjoys getting on the tools Weve got the perfect role for you.
Were working with a well-established family-run automotive business in the Croydon area looking for a Workshop Controller to lead a small dedicated team and keep the workshop running smoothly.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Leading a team of 4 technicians mentoring motivating and managing workflow
- Spending around 20% of your time on the tools (keep your hands dirty!)
- Loading and scheduling jobs through the workshop
- Managing job cards and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Speaking with customers to update on progress and advise on repairs
Hours:
Monday to Friday 7:00am 5:00pm
(No weekends enjoy your time off!)

What Were Looking For:
- Strong technical background (Level 3 qualified preferred)
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or senior technician looking to progress
- Confident communicator with good customer service skills
- Ability to organise workload and drive team performance
