The Opportunity

Were looking for a driven Contracts Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in providing programming operations support and administration to the Programming Operations team in Sydney.

In this role youll work closely with the Senior Contracts Coordinator and Legal team and will report directly to the Head of Programming Operations in Sydney.

What youll do:

  • Liaise directly with Distributors and Sevens Legal department regarding all legal Program License Agreements.
  • Analyse and interpret license agreements and other documents to ensure all agreed terms are included such as license period runs allowed broadcast and digital rights.
  • Revising marking up and occasionally drafting license agreements identifying and resolving issues to finalise contracts.
  • Manage and update data entry of deals and programs into IBMS Software to allow for broadcast and online upload.
  • Prepare program information required for Screenrights.
  • Collaborating effectively across departments and contributing to a supportive team environment.

What youll bring:

Youre an excellent communicator and genuinely passionate about TV and film. Youll also have:

  • An entry level foundation of administration/clerical skills preferably with a background in the TV or Film industry (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to maintain high quality work with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated capability to work with confidential information.
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working within a dynamic evolving organisation.

Please note that his role is not suitable for law graduates or qualified solicitors.
