What You Will Do:
This internship offers a hands-on introduction to financial analysis working with a team of financial planning and analysis professionals including senior management who provide insights and recommendation to our Business Units. These BUs have profit and loss accoutability for their assigned product lines and customers. Interns will collaborate across departments and gain exposure to tools and processes that drive strategic decisions. Its a great opportunity to build foundational skills and explore a career in finance.
What You Will Bring:
- Freshman Sophomore Junior or Senior student status working towards a Bachelors degree with an emphasis in a Finance Accounting or Business related field of study
- Experience using Microsoft Office including the ability to create basic reports documents presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Strong verbal communication skills in order to clearly explain options and solutions to end-users
- Strong written communication skills demonstrating the ability to prepare outlines reports letters and any other supplemental materials in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to identify issues compare data and investigate discrepancies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Able to give full attention to what other people are saying taking time to understand the points being made and asking questions as appropriate
- Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks projects and priorities
- Ability to collaborate with team members
