Fort McMurray Composite High School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our instructional team in the role of Sr High Humanities and CTS Teacher .

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education

• Experience teaching in a senior high school setting with knowledge of English Language Arts Social Studies and CTS programs of study.
• Knowledge and familiarity with Assessment for Learning Literacy and Differentiated Instruction practices.
• Effective organizational and classroom management skills are imperative.
• Ability to integrate and use technology in a regular and virtual classroom.
• Ability to create goals for Individual Program Plans as well as implement the plan for students.
• A strong ability to build relationships with high school students staff and parents.
• Strong technology skills are required with knowledge of Google Platform applications and PowerSchool an asset.
• Flexible TEAM player.
• Knowledge of the Collaborative Response Model is an asset.
