The Behavioral Health Clinical Receptionist plays a vital role in supporting the Behavioral Health team and ensuring a welcoming organized and compassionate environment for patients seeking mental health services. This position is responsible for front-desk operations including patient check-in/out appointment scheduling insurance verification and maintaining accurate medical recordsall while delivering exceptional customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- EHR experience required
- At least 1 year of healthcare reception experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Prior experience in a medical or mental health office preferred
- Familiarity with behavioral health terminology and procedures preferred
- Completion of a certified medical office training course CNA or Medical Assistant program preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
