Were looking for a Controller to lead our finance and accounting operations and play a critical role in shaping the companys financial strategy. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone with deep technical expertise strong compliance knowledge and the ability to guide both people and process in a growing healthcare organization. Youll be a trusted advisor to executive leadership while ensuring accurate reporting effective controls and financial strength to support our mission.
WHAT YOULL DO:
- Lead Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting functions including general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll and financial reporting.
- Financial Close & Reporting: Manage month-end and year-end close processes prepare consolidated reports and deliver timely financial insights to leadership.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with executive leadership on budget vs. actuals rolling forecasts and cash flow planning.
- Compliance & Tax: Ensure GAAP compliance oversee multi-state payroll and sales tax filings and coordinate with external tax advisors.
- Audit & Banking: Lead relationships with audit firms banks and other external financial partners.
- Cash Management: Review and approve weekly cash flow reports to ensure liquidity and address issues proactively.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls policies and financial systems.
- Team Leadership: Mentor coach and develop finance staff
- Process Improvement: Identify efficiencies implement new tools and enhance workflows to scale with company growth.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 10 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance with at least 5 years in a Controller or senior leadership capacity
- Strong technical accounting expertise and knowledge of GAAP and multi-state compliance requirements
- Experience in healthcare professional services or growth-oriented companies a plus
- Excellent written verbal and executive communication skills
- Proven ability to lead teams implement process improvements and manage cross-functional relationships
