DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Outpatient Neurology team in Arizona. This advanced practice provider will deliver high-quality neurological care in a collaborative patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and evaluations.
- Order conduct and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and non-pharmacological therapies.
- Educate and counsel patients families and caregivers.
- Collaborate with neurologists and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in performance improvement and research initiatives.
- Engage in community outreach and professional development.
During the selection process you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview a question will appear on your screen and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps.
QualificationsNurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP ANP or ACNP.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.
Additional Qualifications:
Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required
