Safety Advisor
About the opportunity
This position is to support the ongoing maintenance review and assurance of the Health Safety & Wellbeing Management System (HSWMS). The Safety Advisor is crucial to the goal of ensuring key information is available disseminated and analysed for ongoing continual improvement. This role also supports integration of Health Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) initiatives and People and Culture based programs within WorkSafe to cultivate a proactive HSW culture undertaking assurance activities in the HSW Management System; and assisting with the improvement of system capability including statistical analysis.
Additionally the role supports the Safety and Compliance Lead with the ongoing review and continuous improvement of the HSWMS which includes but not limited to:

About you
You are an experienced Safety Advisor with at least 5 years experience in a similar HSW role. You have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Occupational Health and Safety Regulatory framework and compliance requirements. Additionally you will possess:
