Director of Software DevelopmentWhat does a successful Director of Software Development do at Fiserv
As a successful Director of Software Development you will lead a team of talented developers to create cutting-edge solutions that address complex business challenges. You will involve strategic planning project management and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software applications.
What you will do:
Lead and manage a team of developers providing direction and guidance to ensure successful project delivery.
Oversee the design development and implementation of software applications that align with Fiservs strategic goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Monitor project progress identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
What you will need to have:
8 years of experience in software development and programming
4 years of experience leading teams
4 years of experience in Python or similar programming languages
4 years of experience in SQL databases
4 years of experience in AWS Azure or GCP services primarily AWS
- 8 years of an equivalent combination of educational background related experience and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
Experience in the financial services industry
Salary Range
$146000.00 - $244800.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
