ASSISTANT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
JOB LOCATION: JUICE PLANT
SHIFT: 3rd SHIFT (10:00PM-6:30AM)
(TUESDAY-SATURDAY) MONDAYS AS NEEDED
REPORTS TO: SHIFT SUPERVISOR

Are you looking to grow your career at Grimmway Produce Group and make a meaningful impact at our Juicing Plant Were offering an opportunity for a current team member to step into a key role by working as an Assistant Production Supervisor responsible to run production operations in the absence of the production supervisor. Assist the supervisor in all related operations including safety compliance quality quantity efficiency profitability and housekeeping standards.

What You Will Need:
- Must have knowledge of raw material to finished product and able to understand and monitor product flow.
- Must have experience using GIS.
- Must have experience in production and sanitation operations food safety and employee safety.
- Must be have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must have the ability to train and instruct all subordinates.
- Must have the ability to set up production lines.
- Must have the ability to manage work force equipment and product.
- Must have ability to work with people and have good communication skills.
- Able to ensure that all equipment and personnel are operating safely.
- Mustbe willing and able to work other shifts as needed.
- Remote work not available for this position.
- Must be bi-lingual English/Spanish with the ability to speak read and write in both.
- Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Assist Supervisor with production operations. Schedule plan direct and manage work force. Direct motivate and train staff. Direct staff to meet production schedules and goals. Practice and enforce good food safety and safety habits make sure all KPIs are met. Perform other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position throughout much of the working day. Ability to move about inside the office and food processing facilities. Ability to operate a computer and other productivity equipment. Ability to walk up and down stairs platforms and catwalks. Ability to inspect equipment and product. Must be able to work in different temperatures (working temperatures as hot as 100 to 110 F and as cold as -10 F to 32 F). Must be able to work in a high noise area. Work in wet and damp environment.
