Job Summary

High School Math Teacher

AZ Compass Prep a K12 campus in North Chandler is seeking a dedicated High School Math Teacher. We are a small boutique-style campus that offers extraordinary opportunities through our focus on the 3 As: Academics Arts and Athletics. The teacher will provide high-quality instruction foster academic growth and create a positive and supportive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver standards-based lessons in Algebra I Algebra II Geometry and Statistics.
Use a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and address diverse learning needs.
Assess student progress with appropriate tools and provide clear timely feedback.
Reteach and support students to ensure mastery of key math concepts.
Collaborate with colleagues parents/guardians and support staff to promote student achievement.
Implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in student education plans.
Maintain accurate records reports and complete assigned administrative tasks.
Apply proactive classroom management strategies to support a safe and productive environment.
Model strong character and encourage students to develop positive habits for success.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal/School Leader.

Skills and Requirements

Strong knowledge of Algebra I Algebra II Geometry and Statistics.
Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Understanding of student learning styles and effective instructional practices.
Familiarity with state and federal education regulations.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.
Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office/Google Suite and learning management systems.
Effective use of email calendars and digital platforms for communication.
