Job Description

Seeking an experienced Plant Manager with experience in electronic component manufacturing to lead company operations in the greater Columbus Ohio area. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of plant performance including production safety quality cost and people development. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a high-mix precision-driven manufacturing environment and excels at building a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Provide strategic leadership for all plant operations to ensure production goals are achieved in terms of safety quality delivery and cost.
  • Oversee manufacturing processes for electronic components ensuring compliance with industry standards (IPC ISO RoHS etc.).
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Manage workforce planning training and development; mentor supervisors and production staff.
  • Partner with engineering supply chain and quality teams to ensure seamless product launches and process improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with safety environmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage plant budgets capital expenditures and operating expenses.
  • Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and performance excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Management or related field.
  • 5 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in electronic components assemblies or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change optimize processes and improve KPIs.
  • Excellent communication leadership and team-building skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing P&L.
