POSITION OVERVIEW/PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Duties include overall support of operational procurement processes (Contract Manufacturing Raw Materials or Packaging) including contract maintenance pricing management and reporting. Responsible for supporting the operational part of the procurement process.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- supplier contract monitoring & maintaining pricing files in SAP
- resolving issues related to ordering process
- managing material and vendor master data in various systems
- reconciling invoice discrepancies in cooperation with Accounts Payable
- responding to queries (from suppliers factories business)
- providing general admin support to Buyers & Category Managers
- preparing reports
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum bachelors degree
- Minimum 4 years of work experience
- 2 or more years experience in operational procurement or production planning area.
- Fluent English
- Practical experience with SAP is a must (R3 or S4)
- Intermediate to advanced PC Skills in MS Word and Excel required.
- Proactive in identifying and supporting customer needs.
- Focus on details and quality of service delivered.
- Problem solving skills.
- Very good communication skills
- Team player
- Willingness to work on night shift (US time zone)
