Job Summary
Financial Controller
- Oversee the financial health compliance and daily operations of an engineering services firm.
- Lead financial planning budgeting forecasting and analysis for global engineering and life sciences projects.
- Manage preparation and review of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and analyze performance against budgets/forecasts.
- Supervise daily accounting operations including cash flow management accounts payable/receivable and project costing.
- Establish and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and safeguard company assets.
- Serve as a strategic financial partner to engineering and life sciences teams supporting growth and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams on bids RFPs market analysis and customer analysis.
- Manage and mentor finance and accounting staff fostering a high-performance environment and ensuring timely delivery of financial analysis and reporting.
- Ensure accurate maintenance and optimization of ERP and financial systems.
- Support business decisions through data-driven insights and strategic financial guidance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Demonstrate strong leadership analytical and communication skills with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.
