ROLE PURPOSE
The Specialist Communication Partner Americas plays a critical role in supporting employee experience with specific accountability for the newly formed Americas region.
Responsible for ensuring our people are informed engaged and connected to our purpose strategy and values this role will partner closely with regional Executive Committee members and relevant leads in HR Commercial and Ops to become an expert on their region. They will seek to understand employee needs foster engagement and understanding and implement initiatives that create a positive and inclusive work environment.
The Specialist Communications Partner will be responsible for the regional implementation of effective internal communication strategies that engage employees promote organizational culture and facilitate clear information flow across all levels of the organization. They will drive best practice throughout the organisation and support regional leads to create and share their narrative.
The Specialist Communications Partner Americas will also share responsibility with the wider team for storytelling across global initiatives and own a minimum of one global project per year that drives our employee experience forward.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business engagement: Identify through engagement with the business ongoing needs from an communications and engagement point of view that enable efficiency simplicity and ease of access to key support. Support leads in region to create a targeted communications plan for their employee base.
Content creation: Lead creation and governance of a variety of internal communications materials including newsletters announcements intranet content and presentations.
Employee understanding: Ensure employees understand the companys mission strategy policies and performance. Equip them with the company-wide and function-specific tools and information they need to perform their jobs and feel connected to the big picture.
Business enablement: Coach partners in the business on internal approach and content for effective employee communications reviewing documents and materials created in region/function to ensure they are written appropriately for the targeted audience and comply with organisation style guidelines.
Collaboration: Work closely with HR and other departments to ensure alignment on key messages policies and initiatives.
Crisis Communication: Develop and implement communication plans for crisis situations to ensure timely and accurate information dissemination.
Data Analysis: Work in partnership with the Global Channels Specialist to use analytics to measure the effectiveness of employee experience initiatives and to inform future improvements for improvement.
Global recognition: Create deliver and refine the annual global recognition programme for all employees. Advise on local and regional best practice for recognition to create a holistic approach.
Employee advocacy: Act as the voice of our employees bringing challenge and opportunity to improve employee experience to both the Director of Employee Experience and other leaders.
Leading with integrity consideration and challenge having the courage and confidence to challenge the business and its leaders.

Communications plan meets desired objectives and activities and programmes are on time and on brand
Enhanced ownership of communications across business
Enhanced global recognition programme metrics participation and feedback

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
REQUIRED EDUCATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Strong experience in an internal communications partnering role
Previous experience in a global setting presenting and working with colleagues or clients
PREFERRED EDUCATION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience of crafting and delivering communications designed to enhance employee experience
Practical experience utilising a variety of methods to enhance employee experience and understanding various internal communication methods/ channels up to date with industry trends
Enthusiastic engaging and experienced communicator and influencer with experience leading multiple projects and business needs; planning prioritising and delivering successfully to multiple deadlines
First class communication skills (written verbal visual engaging presenter)
Outstanding collaboration influencing and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with stakeholders across the business
Ability to identify and analyse business and audience needs to deliver messages via the most appropriate mix of channels using a variety of communication change management and engagement approaches
Proven experience of creating and executing internal communications activity that aligns to business goals and a track record of delivering solid measurable results
Able to be hands-on a team player who can lead by example with high accountability for their actions

When determining final compensation we take into consideration: skillset job scope knowledge prior experience cost of living market data budget availability and other factors as permitted by law.
The pay range for this position is: $89000 - $130000.
