Role Description:

Arcadis is seeking a highly motivated Change Manager to join our team supporting the East San Fernando Valley (ESFV) Light Rail Transit Project in Los Angeles. You will work on-site from the project field office supporting contract administration change control and coordination efforts. You will report to the Project Manager Contract Administrator and other project leadership to ensure the effective implementation of construction management procedures.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Assist with post-award contract administration activities including:
  • Monitoring compliance with contract terms and conditions
  • Preparing and processing change orders and contract modifications
  • Reviewing contractor work for conformance with contract requirements
  • Maintain organized documentation of all contract activities correspondence and reports
  • Review and support the processing of pay applications and invoice validation
  • Coordinate with contractors utility agencies Metro departments and other stakeholders
  • Support the implementation and tracking of change control procedures per project requirements
  • Perform additional contract administration and project support duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in contract administration or related change management on heavy civil construction / project management work
  • Bachelors degree in Business Public Administration Engineering Construction Management or related field or equivalent relevant experience

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • This role requires experience in public-sector construction projects strong contract administration knowledge and the ability to communicate and collaborate with various project stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of public procurement and contract administration practices
  • Familiarity with local state and federal laws related to public sector contracts
  • Understanding project management principles and construction processes
  • Proficiency with relevant business software applications (e.g. MS Office contract management tools)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in contract administration or related change management on heavy civil construction / project management work

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $150000 - $250000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
