Amazon Business is looking for an experienced ML Data Ops Manager to lead and optimize our machine learning data operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our ML data operations and help us build world-class AI/ML solutions.
Key job responsibilities
Operations Management:
ML data workflows and ground truth generation processes
annotation tasks and data collection procedures
as point of contact for ML data process areas
time-sensitive tasks with limited documentation
Leadership and Development:
and mentor a team of ML data professionals
performance evaluations and support career growth
hiring and onboarding of new team members
an inclusive and collaborative team environment
Optimization:
and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
with cross-functional teams to enhance tools and workflows
periodic audits of existing processes and SOPs
standardization across ML data workflows
Assurance:
adherence to quality standards in data collection and annotation
root cause analysis on quality issues
proactive measures to reduce errors
Management:
small to medium-scale project deliverables
task completion timelines considering ML data complexities
team workload and prioritize tasks effectively
Management:
with internal stakeholders and partner teams
insights and recommendations to improve ML data quality
decisions and updates to senior leadership
About the team
ABDAI serves as the central Data Platform and Science team across Amazon Business. We pursue foundational problems in analytics engineering data privacy and sciences while also using the capabilities we built to deliver value across the analytics spectrum.
2 years experience in program or project management
3 years of people management experience.
Experience leading process improvements
Bachelor Degree or equivalent
Decision making aptitudes based on given guidelines and in ambiguous context.
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail deadlines and reporting;
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team including adherence to core values and dynamic corporate culture
Ability to work under a dynamic work environment and meet performance goals.
This role requires strong attention to detail solid work ethic and drive the ability to manage large and complex rule sets the ability to recommend solutions to various problems and excellent communication skills and follow up.
