Principal Engineer, CSS Global SaaS & Apps Delivery, DevOps

We are looking for a versatile Senior Developer & Database Engineer with expertise across AI/ML cloud-native development DevOps and enterprise database administration. In this role you will work on building and optimizing AI/ML pipelines developing scalable cloud-based applications and managing mission-critical database environments. You will leverage Python Golang GraphQL REST APIs and OCI AI features while also driving GPU/CPU optimization with CUDA distributed training and performance tuning. On the database side you will manage and optimize Oracle Exadata for high availability reliability and scalability including backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies. The role demands strong problem-solving skills a DevOps mindset and hands-on experience in automation CI/CD containers and cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

Development & AI/ML

• Design and optimize AI/ML pipelines including AI Agents RAG model training inferencing and accuracy tuning.
• Implement GPU/CPU optimization using CUDA for distributed model training and performance improvements.
• Build and integrate services using Python Golang GraphQL OJet REST APIs and OCI AI features.
• Automate and performance-tune the AI/ML lifecycle and data pipelines.

DevOps & Systems Engineering

• Architect and scale cloud-native applications across OCI PaaS SaaS and IaaS environments.
• Build CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code (Ansible Puppet Chef) and automated testing frameworks.
• Manage containers orchestration platforms monitoring and instrumentation solutions.
• Drive system reliability high availability security and compliance strategies.

Database Administration

• Administer and optimize Oracle Exadata Oracle and SQL Server environments.
• Execute performance tuning query/index optimization and storage management.
• Implement robust backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies for 24x7 operations.
• Collaborate with developers to align database structures with application requirements.
• Manage migrations upgrades capacity planning and database security.
  

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory

• 8 years of experience in software development and large-scale production systems.
• Proven expertise in Oracle Exadata administration or DevOps.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of AI/ML frameworks distributed training and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python (primary) plus experience with Bash Golang or Powershell.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD containers orchestration platforms and cloud environments (OCI preferred).
• Deep understanding of OS administration (Linux/Windows/Solaris) and networking (TCP/IP DNS HTTP).
• Strong troubleshooting skills focused on reliability scalability and performance.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).

Good-to-Have

• Experience with OCI AI services and GPU/CPU workload optimization.
• Familiarity with GraphQL OJet and microservices-based architectures.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks cloud security practices and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
